Dedtedrecords was set up by Jon Gilbert and Dan Symons as Lowgold's self-governing and self-financed record label. Its primary purpose is to give oxygen to artistic and creative projects that have been overlooked and left to asphyxiate.

The first release on Dedtedrecords will be a new double Lowgold album due out on September 12th 2005, called ‘Keep Music Miserable’ featuring new tracks, rarities and the band’s entire b-side back catalogue.

The band live played on June 24th at the Tiscali Showcase at the Bar Academy, Islington for the first time in 18 months and play again at The Water Rats on August 2nd.
